Excellent sweetener June 8, 2010 Mary Ann Fargo (Massachusetts, United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Stuff is awesome what can I say. Everyone else's reviews are spot on.
I've been on a sugar free diet for over two months and ran out of
the powdered stevia so thought I'd try the Liquid English Toffee.
Only thing I really use it in is my coffee in the morning and
a couple drops in some Seltzer water tastes very similar to a
creme soda. Will probably order up a few more flavors just so
I don't get bored. Great stuff. Give it a try.

Stevia Clear Valencia Orange 2 Ounces June 1, 2010 S. Finger (Seattle, WA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I enjoy the taste. It's nice in green tea, also nice in coffee.
My experience with customer service with this company was excellent.
Less is more May 20, 2010 J. Follen (Wisconsin) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased liquid stevia in an effort to use more natural sugars in my baking. I tried simply replacing white sugar with liquid stevia in my favorite recipes. I went to Sweet Leaf's website and used their conversion chart. I found that 1 tsp of liquid stevia for every 1 cup of sugar was too much. The intial taste was ok but had a strong aftertaste that stayed in your mouth for awhile. I later tried recipes specifically calling for liquid stevia. These recipes tasted quite good and typically used less liquid stevia.
I wish there were more info!?? May 18, 2010 WhispersToPigs (Tampa Bay Area, FL) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I was a little leary of it the way it was packaged. It was loose in the shipping box wedged in with air packs, it was not in its own box and had traveled all the way from CA to FL in HOT weather. The upc or some other label was placed over the bottle so I couldn't read what was on the bottle, that's always a little scary.
I gave up aspartame after almost a lifetime of use and DERN I FEEL GREAT! I now know how EVIL that aspartame stuff is, not from reading about it but about how I FEEL after quitting it. (just a little FYI it is also in all but one brand of chewing gum!!) I never could handle splenda a it made my stomach upset. SO my goal was to get away from ALL artificial sweeteners. But with it went my beloved sodas, as the calories in the sugar sodas were waaay to high. I tried Stevia Sodas from the health food store but BLEH SPIT YUCK! Aftertaste galore and just not all that sweet. I talked to a friend who used another form of liquid stevia and loved it and When I saw this I figured why not? I got the choc raspberry and it is very tasty on yogart and takes just a couple drops. But my goal was to find something to put in my water besides a very sugary packet type item. I have mixed feelings, I like it, sort of. The package says you only need around 5-8 drops. :-/ I tried it in carbonated water and it was good, but I had to ad almost 20 drops to get that sweet effect. The good news is no serious hideous aftertaste like in the stevia sodas. Same thing in plain water, you need to use A LOT. Then I got worried about how much is safe to use?? Then I got worried about any interactions with rxed medications. I read some articles on it and the FDA seems to call it a supplement, not a sweetener, as it caused liver damage in rats. As for the product, overall its the best 0 calorie NATURAL sweetner I've found, but I'm not sure about it's safety, can anyone with authority elaborate on the safety of this product/stevia?? If so, I sure would buy other flavors as this is sweet if you use enough and there is no icky aftertaste! I know from my reading that its been used for centuries in some places and they think that it may have benefits to those with type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure. I would like to drink it for that reason alone, but I'm still unsure about its safety and how many drops per day are safe to consume??? I mean in some countries opium has been used for centuries as "safe" and the "Atkins diet" was "safe" too, if you know what I'm saying. Would love to hear from others like real doctors etc.
