I bought it because I was having intestinal trouble. I couldn't stand the taste personally. Can be used for other purposes to (which kinda makes you wonder about swallowing it), but I just tossed it.

3 out of 5 stars GSE?   May 20, 2010

Natural GSEs aren't antimicrobial by themselves. These synthesized preservatives inside commercial GSEs are also used as disinfectant in cosmetic products. Chemicals like Benzethonium chloride(Class 2 Poison) and Triclosan(a pesticide) aren't approved for internal use in the US. Be careful with these.

4 out of 5 stars IT MAY NOT TASTE GOOD BUT IT IS GGOD FOR YOU   March 28, 2010

I like this product but I don't like the bitter taste of it. It reminds me of when I ate fresh aloe or drank sulfur bitters. It may not taste good but it is good for you.

5 out of 5 stars Great for so many uses   March 8, 2010

I can't speak highly enough about GSE. Our dogs had some intestinal issues that were not clearing up using traditional medicines. I thought it was a long shot but decided to try GSE because I'd read nothing but rave reviews about it. Sure enough, they started to improve within a few days of the addition of GSE to their food and water and I've since started using it on many different things around the house.

Adding a drop to my toothpaste when I brush my teeth makes my mouth feel clean for hours and hours, even significantly reduces/eliminates morning breath. I also add it to the rinse cycle when doing laundry, as a general disinfectant around the house and gave it to my daughter when she wasn't feeling well.

I plan to buy an even larger bottle because I keep coming up with new uses for it.

5 out of 5 stars Grapefruit Seed Oil Extract, Natural Antibotic   February 12, 2010

I was introduced to this product at a brain storming session. I ordered the book and oil from Amazon and love it. I wash my face with it and my blemishes disappear in a couple of days. I clean my butcher block, all fresh fruits and vegetables and use it in my laundry to kill bacteria. If you take it in a diluted form when you get that scratchy throat you will not get the cold!! I have gifted all my family with this product and they too love it!!
