Good for Baby October 16, 2008 S. Reingardt (Illinois) This Velour contoured changing cover is very soft & it washes up nicely. It fits the contoured pad the way it should. I am also impressed with the company and the way my ordered was processed and received. They have a great name and a cute picture frame magnet that I now have on my fridge to help me remember where to order from the next time a I need an item like this.

Nice color but cheap fabric and sewing September 5, 2007 SunsetDweller (San Francisco, CA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Pros: Organic, nice color, soft. Cons: Cheap construction, strap holes are large and sewn into the center of the pad, not the sides, flimsy fabric (not plush), shrinks to barely accomodate 32 inch standard contoured pad (not 35 inch as stated), smelled odd for first three washings. Would not recommend unless you are dead set on only purchasing organic cotton.
Flimsy fabric, not plush, unexpected holes, smelled strange September 5, 2007 SunsetDweller (San Francisco, CA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Pros: I liked the natural color of the fabric (a dark beige) as well as the fact that this product was made of organic cotton (bottom side is a poly/cotton blend, though). I was expecting a thicker, plusher fabric, however -- what I received was thin and flimsy, about the thickness of a few paper towels. Also the manufacturer sewed in two holes to the center of the changing pad cover, instead of the sides, to accomodate the changing table straps. The holes were sewn so close to each other that it is hard to imagine being able to strap a baby over 1 month or 10 pounds to the changing table. Most changing table covers have holes sewn into the sides of the pad to accomodate for growth. The cover just looks "holey" as a result, and sort of cheap. Also, the changing cover smelled strange out of the package, sort of like vinyl or new plastic -- but this is not uncommon with imported fabric (cover was made in China, according to label). The smell went away after 3 washings, fortunately. The fabric shrunk a bit in the wash and barely accomodated my 32 inch changing pad (not the 35 inches claimed on Amazon). I don't think this pad is going to last long.
