Great relief for sleeping on the plane August 3, 2010 John Olds (Plantersville, TX USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I travel every week as a consultant and this has been a welcome addition to my travel accessories. I refused to use one of those giant pillows as packing space is a premium when you try not to check any bags. This has worked great in keeping my shoulders and neck from getting sore. You will have to get over the difference from the "U" pillows that everyone else uses for something that is similar to a neck brace, but the relief will outweigh that quickly enough.
Just as reference, I wear an 18 1/2" collar shirt and the large fits comfortably on me.
This giraffe loves it. :) July 25, 2010 TallTexan (Texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I saw this in a SkyMall catalog and decided to take a chance on it, even though I have a long, skinny neck. I don't use it for support. I use it exclusively for sleeping on airplanes, and it works perfectly for me for that. It allows me to sleep sitting up without my mouth falling open or having my head lean to one side or the other. Thumbs up from me!
Will ruin your designer sheets! June 27, 2010 Sean L. Lane (Seattle, WA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I liked the way this support feels, it is articulating but still provides support. And I like the idea of a stylish, almost sporty, neck brace that is less conspicuous than the medical white ones. I thought it was brilliant!
However, when I tried to sleep with it -- it ruined our designer sheets -- because the color (black) runs when it comes in contact with moisture. In fact, it dyed my neck black as well, but it came off in the shower.
Wasn't this product engineered and tested?
Great Quilter's Friend June 21, 2010 Happy Quilter (Toledo, OH USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I don't usually bother to write reviews, but after spending a week where I was quilting 16+ hours a day, I must say that this product literally saved the day (and my neck). Generally, after just a few hours at the sewing machine I can feel tension and eventually pain in my neck and shoulders. This neck rest kept me going all week. I highly recommend it and I am ordering a spare.
BLUE-NECK SPECIAL June 4, 2010 Henry W. Slangal (McMinnville, oregon United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This collar is more attractive than the white cotton competition. When you wear it, you don't look like you just stepped out of the emergency clinic.
But when you take it off, your neck (and shirt) will be blue. If you don't wash it off, the blue will transfer to what ever touches your neck --pajama top, girlfriend, mugger, whatever. People will stare at you and some will ask what happened to your neck. Priced at least 100% above the drug-store cervical collars, you would think the manufacturer would use a color-fast fabric.
