Stevia is an all-natural sweetener that has not been chemically manipulated like Splenda and NutraSweet. It has been used successfully for thousands of years and is absolutely delicious. It is safe for diabetics to use as it does not affect blood sugar levels as sugar does, but tastes just like sugar. It does not negatively distress the body as Nutrasweet's aspartame does. As Splenda is chemically manipulated sugar and relatively new to the market, I fear its safety in the longterm.
