I ordered this product after seeing it demonstrated at a local fair. The product gets extremely hot. The tip is not covered, which means I now have a burn scar on my wrist. (I'm still used to the typical curling irons!) The product does not have the clasp for grasping hair, so you have to use the glove and your fingers to control the hair. This product certainly does curl that hard-to-curl hair, but it is so awkward to use that I have barely used it!

I paid way too much for the skinnier version of this curling iron, bought it from a display at the mall. Glad I found this on online for about $40 less!! Once you get used to curling your hair with these, it's definitely a different method, you'll love it. Makes my pin straight hair into nice loose spirals...
I did have the skinner iron break, it was replaced with $10 shipping fee. It did take almost 3 weeks tho.

I had already purchased the 19mm in london last year, so i knew this item was excellent. The 25mm is brilliant for longer hair & gives a bigger natural wave to the hair rather then a definate curl, but it depends on the thickness of the hair you are working on. Really great for a quick fix & a very glamorous hair style. just be carfeul, the barrel gets extremely hot - gloves are enclosed for your hands but just mind your face, neck etc when using it.
