This cough syrup did provide some cough relief, but you have to like honey. I wanted something to help with bed time coughing, but it is way too sweet for me and didn't quite meet the relief that I get with menthol lozenges. I used up all that I bought, but I wouldn't purchase this again.

We've been using Chestal for 2 years now and still love it. We've tried another homeopathic cough syrup (with honey) and it seems to work just as well. My boys (ages 3.5 and 18 months) like it and it helps their coughs more quickly than without it. Now, when they develop a cough, I give them this immediately when they wake up and before nap and bedtime; coughs don't get worse when I do this. It says for ages 2+, so I give a very small dose for our little one. Obviously, it shouldn't be used for anyone younger than 1 because of the honey, but it's homeopathic, so I don't worry. I always try things before I'll give them to my kids and this actually tastes ok.
For the price and peace of mind, you absolutely can't go wrong. Everyone should have this is their "medicine" cupboard!
