4 out of 5 stars good stuff   March 7, 2010
Matthew W. Greer
This is a good product.Fruit punch taste alright.Don't take too much at once.Build a tolerance!!I found that I can't eat within 2 hours of taking this or I won't feel much.My face does feel itchy about 10 minutes after taking but it goes away within 5 minutes. It doesn't give me an overwhelming surge of energy, which is good, but it does leave me focused and pumped.I really like this stuff.price is good.I just ordered more.

5 out of 5 stars Works Good/ Better Alternative to other Pre-Workout Supps   March 5, 2010
David Monroe
i just finished my first container of jacked..i am a 6'6" 200 lb college athlete that has been training for a few years now and this product does exactly what you should want from a pre workout supp. a few years ago i cycled through creatine and NO explode, and just by comparing the nutrional info, jacked is far better for your body. i only need to take 2 scoops to feel the effects, and only use it for my heavy lifting days 3 days a week, thats it. the only reason i think some people don't get a "pump" from using this product is because they aren't using it right..i take it exactly 1.5-2 hrs after eating a well balanced meal. the other reason is because you are not lifting right. this supp is suppose to give you an extra energy boost, you still have to do the hard work yourself. if you are lifting right, no matter what you take, you will always get that "pumped" feeling. and if you are already a caffeine junky, obviously you'll react different to it. this is the only caffeinated product/food/drink i use so i have a low tolerance to it. lastly, if you aren't eating right, then don't even bother, you are what you eat, it's as simple as that. if you are eating right, you will look good, stay away from processed foods, fats, sodium, sugars, and eat proportionately well balanced meals through out the day. i like to consume my caloric intake by eating 60% carbs, 20/30% protein, 20/10% fat and it works. 5 stars for this product...i will never go back to NO explode, the side effects on your liver aren't worth it and the amount of magnessium they put in there is basically a laxative in powdered form.

3 out of 5 stars Great for energy, not for pumps   March 1, 2010

I have gone through a couple these and while the energy is great, it won't help you feel stronger and life more at the gym. This also gets you really focused. But like I said *No Increase in Pumps* So if your problem is getting energy at the gym I would totally recommend this. But as far as getting a better workout for lifting weights, I will looking elsewhere.

1 out of 5 stars Terrible   February 28, 2010

My husband bought this for energy before a workout. He took the minimum recommended amount and 30 mins later got dizzy. He's decided to stick with a few cups of coffee.

5 out of 5 stars Great stuff, IMO superior to many other pre-workout supps!   February 25, 2010

I have been using NO supplements for the past six months or so, cycling from FastTwitch to NOXplode to MRI Blackpowder and now the Jack3d. I'm convinced that different people react differently to each of these supplements even though they are, at the core, very similar. That being said, I think Jack3d has had the biggest impact for me with the fewest side effects (upset stomach, jittery) of any of these products. I didn't get the 'tingles' like many people have mentioned here, just a good feeling of solid energy and focus. The first time I used this I went through a P90X arm workout at the gym with no problem whatsoever and EXCELLENT pumps. I even did 20 minutes of ab/cardio exercises afterwards and I left the gym (after 75 minutes of hard work) feeling great. Combine this product with careful pre- and post-workout nutrition (NO PROTEIN or food an hour before taking an NO supplement) and most people will see solid results.

The good... I like the simple list of ingredients (even though they do the usual "proprietary blend" thing when it comes to giving you a breakdown of the quantities of each). I like the cost- medium sized people can do well on two scoops. That gives you about 20+ servings per container. I like the small scoops that mix easily and go down quickly (and the small container can fit in a bag or briefcase easily). Most importantly, I like the results. This product seems to deliver on its promises.

The bad... This contains sucralose. I don't like the sucralose. USP, if you read this PLEASE make this product in an unsweetened version and allow us to mix it with juice or other flavors on our own. I hate the idea of putting sucralose into my body. Secondly, don't expect to go to bed a half an hour after a workout on Jack3d. This stuff has caffeine so you know what will happen. The smell is a bit off-putting but I've learned that taste / smell are minute factors when compared to results. Other than that I can't find too much else that is wrong with this product.

Recommended!
