| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Made from the stevia plant (which has a natural sweetness in the leaves); and Xylitol as a flowing agent (derived primarily from the bark of the birch tree) giving this blend a round sweet taste similar to the taste of sugar.

VERY SWEET March 9, 2010 o rodrigues (texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The 98% positive feedback received by this supplier from almost 200 customers, many of them repeat customers, during the last 30 days ( to see this supplier feedback click on the picture of the box, and then click on the "Stevita Co. Inc " in "Sold by Stevita Co. Inc" encouraged me to try this product. I am glad I did because this product tastes almost like sugar with a much more intensive sweetness, and with no calories and natural . Just a half packet was enough to sweeten my cup of coffee. I will certainly buy it again and highly recommend it to anyone.
Yes and No March 6, 2010 C. Barnes Yes, I like this in my hot tea.
No, I do not like it in my coffee.
Tastes like bad chewing gum. March 4, 2010 adamczar (Ypsilanti, MI United States) This was my first experience with Stevia and probably my last. Not knowing how much to use, I started slow and added little by little, not wanting to overpower the flavor. Anyway, I couldn't taste it in a bowl of oatmeal until I emptied two packets into the bowl, and even then it tasted nothing like sugar, rather it tasted like a stick of bad chewing gum that leaves you with a headache and your mouth feeling sticky and cool.
The aftertaste is terrible, worse than most artificial sweeteners, and I was able to detect the aftertaste with about 1/4 of a packet in the oatmeal, long before the actual flavor of the product.
Maybe there are better Stevia products out there, I don't know, but I'm not sure I want to try.
Avoid! March 3, 2010 Tech Seeker (Pacific NW) This is absolutely the worst-tasting "sweetener" I have tried. If you're looking for something that tastes bitter with a slight sweet after-taste this is it. Otherwise, keep looking. I'm back to honey!
REPULSIVE! March 3, 2010 Michael O. (Rhode Island, USA) I just received my package of Stevita Supreme stevia "sweetener". It is the most repulsive tasting sweetener I have ever used. I'm sure saccharine is better tasting than this stuff! I did a side my side comparison of Stevita, aspartame and Splenda. The aspartame and Splenda are both decent tasting, and the Stevita is HORRIBLE! Bitter, and tasting of some sort of chemical.
Thank-god it was only [...] bucks with free delivery because it's probably going in the trash or to a soup kitchen - though the homeless certainly deserve better than this stuff.
