made me nauseous :( July 22, 2010 stone i tried these for two days and i was afraid to take it again because it made me nauseous from about 20-30 minutes after taking for about half a day. the first day i just felt nauseous but the second day, i actually threw up quite abruptly about 30 min after taking and then continued feeling nauseous throughout the day.
i had food in my stomach so i don't think that was the issue. i'm 25 and i just wanted a daily vitamin that gave me more mental and physical energy but i don't think this is it. i might try it again just to make sure though. i ordered it because it was cheap (like $6 at the time) and it had plenty of great reviews. i thought for sure that i would be fine due to the ratio of good and bad reviews. this never happens to me so it was a bit surprising. but i will try it again when i have no commitments during the day :( good luck!
oh and besides the nausea - i really didn't feel any different. i did get a bit yawn-y a couple of hours after taking which i thought was a bit odd..but it could have just been a coincidence. hope it works for you!
Energy boost w/ no rapid heartbeat July 18, 2010 Jane Doe (Nashville TN) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I used to like the One-a-Day Weight Support with EGCG (or some green-tea acronym) until they reformulated it as "Advanced" and added stimulants, which made my heart race. Ugh! Been trying numerous drugstore and health food store vitamins since then, but could never really tell any difference in skin, hair, how I felt, etc. These vitamins are now my favorite. They give me lots of energy and feeling of well-being with not a trace of rapid heartbeat. And I'm not sure, but I think my appetite is not as strong when I'm taking them! Plus, they are reasonably priced and available in stores. Two energetic thumbs up!
Well balanced, easy-to-digest nutritional support for women July 14, 2010 Andrea L. Polk (Southern Oregon) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After using this vitamin supplement for over a year, I'm sold on it. I've tried many other brands of vitamins designed specifically for women, but no others have been so easy to digest (with or without food) and so complete. Yes, they are BIG pills, but you only take one a day and can break it in half if you need to do so. Loaded with good stuff that includes a vegetable juice complex, women's nourishing blend and complete digestive support (probiotics), in addition to a well-balance multivitamin.
NOTE: This women's multivitamin is tough to beat as it's only taken once a day and maximizes many of the recommended daily values, however most women will want/need to supplement with additional calcium as that is the one area where based upon the daily recommended values, it is lacking.
Included in this multivitamin are the following: (taken directly from the product packaging)
Vitamin A, 5000 IU - 100% recommended daily value
Vitamin C, 120mg - 200%
Vitamin D, 800IU - 200%
Vitamin E, 100IU - 333%
Vitamin K, 100mcg - 125% **not found in all multivitamins.
Vitamin B-1, 25mg - 1667%
Riboflavin (B-2), 25mg - 1471%
Niacin, 25mg - 125%
Vitamin B-6, 25mg - 1250%
Folic Acid, 800mcg - 200%
Vitamin B-12, 25mcg - 417%
Biotin, 150mcg - 50%
Vitamin B-5, 25mg - 250%
Calcium, 200mg - 20% **additional supplement needed.
Iron, 6mg - 20%
Magnesium, 100mg - 25%
Zinc, 10mg - 25%
Selenium, 200mcg - 286%

Complete Digestive Support: includes Protease, Amylase, Lipase, Cllulase and Lactobacilus.

In conclusion, this is one vitamin supplement that has made a positive difference in my life and I will continue to take it - recommending it to other women, especially those who are perimenopausal, have fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome or other energy zapping woes.
Rainbow Light Women's One Multivitamin June 26, 2010 S. Whitworth (Texas) These are, hands down, the best vitamins I have ever taken. I am back for my second bottle. These vitamins, paired with diet and exercise, dramatically subside my p.m.s. You got to appreciate that! Plus, without going into a lot of detail, they keep you regular. You got to appreciate that too! Get them. Do not think about it, just do it. Throw out your One a Days and get some Rainbow Light! It is the BEST!
Great vitamins June 25, 2010 Elizabeth Grabowski
I've been taking these for years and they are gentle enough to take on an
empty stomach...much more expensive in the store.
